V Pasji Univerzi verjamemo, da se najve\u010dja zmaga za\u010dne z majhnimi, ponavljajo\u010dimi se koraki \u2013 z razumno izgubo telesne te\u017ee, skrbno strukturirano aktivnostjo in prehrano, ki hrani sklepe brez energetskih prese\u017ekov. Ta prispevek se osredoto\u010da prav na to: zakaj vsak kilogram \u0161teje, kako sestaviti varen na\u010drt gibanja (umirjen ssprehod, plavanje, mehke podlage), kako dolo\u010diti tempo napredovanja in spremljati bole\u010dino ter kako zmanj\u0161ati kalorije brez prehranskih pomanjkanj. Adipociti izlo\u010dajo citokine in adipokine (npr. TNF-\u03b1, IL-6), ki prispevajo k sistemskemu in sklepnemu vnetju. Tako prekomerna te\u017ea ne deluje zgolj mehansko, temve\u010d presnovno zaostruje bole\u010dino in degeneracijo. Rebra morajo biti zlahka tipna pod tanko plastjo podko\u017ene ma\u0161\u010dobe, brez agresivnega pritiska. Od zgoraj naj bo pas opazen, s strani pa naj bo trebu\u0161na linija ne\u017eno dvignjena proti zadnjiku. Pri dolgodlakih psih se zanesite na otip, ne le na oko. Zapi\u0161ite oceno (npr. 5\/9 kot ideal) in jo mese\u010dno preverjajte.<\/p>\n<h3>Tedensko spremljanje te\u017ee in obsega prsnega ko\u0161a<\/h3>\n<p>Te\u017eo bele\u017eite na isti tehtnici, ob isti uri in pred obrokom. Obseg prsnega ko\u0161a (za lopaticami) merite s \u0161iviljskim metrom \u2013 enaka to\u010dka, enaka napetost. Tako boste opazili trend in hitro prilagodili prehrano ali aktivnost, \u010de napredek zastane. Za\u010dnite s 10\u201315-minutnimi sprehodi 2\u20133-krat dnevno po ravnem, na povodcu, da nadzorujete tempo in prepre\u010dite sunkovite pospe\u0161ke. Preproge z gumiranim spodnjim delom, protizdrsne podloge v hodnikih ter ortopedske postelje z visoko gostoto pene zmanj\u0161ajo mikrotraume in zdrse. Ob skledah, na klan\u010dinah in ob postelji namestite protizdrsne to\u010dke.
